SEGIR Privatization II IQC Awarded
The SEGIR Privatization II is a five-year Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), awarded by the United States Agency International Development (USAID). The contract has a period of performance from 2003 to 2008. The SEGIR Privatization II mechanism is a useful tool to strengthen the institutional, regulatory, and policy frameworks required to sustain market growth. By strengthening the institutional capacity for economic governance and formalizing public-private dialogue, USAID Missions can help to sustain market reforms and consolidate the gains from privatization.

Under this vehicle the Prime Contractor, Emerging Markets Group (EMG) helps increase economic development through activities such as trade enhancement, competitive-market development, privatization, post-privatization support, and policy reform. EMG has assembled a strong consortium of partners, including Dickerson Knight Group, Academy for Educational Development, ADB and Associates, The Aries Group, Davis Global Advisors, ICF Consulting, The International Law Institute, International Resources Group, Overseas Strategic Consulting, Pierce Atwood, QED, Taylor de Jongh, Washington Advisory Services International, and WolfeReiter.
