Project Name: Non-Bank Financial Intermediation (NBFI) Advisory Project

Location: Armenia

Description of Work:
The objective of USAID funded project was to assist the Republic of Armenia in assessing the NBFI market.

Engagement involved conducting an assessment of the NBFI market in Armenia that focused on capital and financial market participants. The subjects of the assessment included: the commercial banking sector, the Armenian Stock Exchange, the Central Depository, and broker /dealers operating within Armenia.

The assignment resulted in identifying realistic opportunities for helping to reinvigorate NBFI activities in Armenia.

Project Name: Croatia Privatization Project

Description of Work:
The objective of this project was to assist in preparing 80 State Owned Enterprises (majority) to be privatized.

Engagement involved conducting company and financial analysis, preparing information memorandum, performing valuations, preparing company profiles; and recommending focused pre-privatization financial restructuring; investor outreach; and public education.

Project Name: Capital Markets Support Project

Description of Work:
The objective of this USAID funded project was to conduct an assessment of and provided recommendations to improve the existing business development capabilities of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE).

Engagement involved a review of the MSE listing policies and procedures, public relations efforts, and investor awareness and education programs.

Reviewed the relationship between the MSE and the Macedonian Securities and Exchange Commission (MSEC), provided recommendations designed to enhance the MSE’s listing program and public education capabilities and the creation of a formal shareholder information departments.

Project Name: Privatization Support Project

Description of Work:
The objective of this project was to provide support to the Georgian Ministry of State Property Management in its efforts to privatize several State Owned Enterprises.

Engagement involved conducting an assessment of targeted companies, allocating assets and liabilities among business units, preparing company profiles and five- year projections, establishing indicative values, and coaching local staff in financial analysis and valuation approaches. Designed and developed Shareholders Rights and Creditors Rights and Bankruptcy Training Programs.

Description of Work:
The objective of this project was to perform a financial analysis and valuations of Egyptian based pharmaceutical companies.
